Rock music albums are an important medium of entertainment for all those who are interested in music and when really looks at the various aspects of music and entertainment, there are distinct phases of music that has been used over the years. In fact, the 70’s are more about classic music and the 80’s and 90’s have produced more modern entertainment for all music lovers.

The 70’s rock music

Rock music in the 70’s was more of the classical music that left your heart throbbing for more. When you listen to the 70’s rock music, you feel a nostalgic sense that leaves you wondering if this was the best music that ever was! This is the music that creates a sense of excitement and makes you start becoming wild. The rock music in the 70’s era was also the time when there was resurgence and a new variety of music albums started making their way in from this generation with the use of synthesizers. There were some subgenres that started appearing in this decade and they included those like heavy metal and also hard rock music.

The 80’s rock music

The 80’s did not have a sudden change in the genre of rock music, but there was a gradual change. This made the people to wonder if rock music albums will ever be the same again with the emergence of genres such as hardcore punk as well as alternative rock. New wave was also one of the subgenres of this decade of rock music. The 80’s rock music was important because of the emergence of alternative rock that consisted of any rock music that did not fit into other genres and consisted mainly of independent music with many albums topping sales. An important addition to the world of rock music in this era was Hip Hop.

The 90’s rock music

The 90’s rock music was no different from the previous two decades and there were many subgenres in this decade that emerged. Some of these genres died a natural death and some others made a permanent dent and changed the rock music fundamentals. Though grunge started as a subgenre in the 80’s rock music scenario, a lot of fans were after the grunge only in the 90’s rock music. The reason was that people were more open to transition in this era. The 90’s rock music saw the emergence of mix of rap as well as metal giving to the world a unique genre of music albums.

C-Note has enjoyed success as a member of the “Screwed Up Click,” and “Botany Boys.” Releasing albums with both groups, C-Note started focusing on his solo career in the late nineties. The “Botany Boyz” gained nominal success with their second album, and C-Note followed that triumph with his first solo album, “Third Coast Born,” released in 1999. A major underground hit at first, C-Note’s solo album ultimately rose to number 67 on the Billboard Hip-hop & Rap Charts. With all the buzz surrounding the Houston born rapper and his first solo album home-run, C-Note decided to renovate and revitalize the record, re-releasing it in 2000. Since then, C-Note has released several other solo albums, his most recent records include “Network’n,” completed in 2006, and his self titled release “C-Note,” in 2007. A strong staple in the “Screwston” scene, C-Note continues to preform his solo music, as well as collaborative projects within the “Screwed Up Click,” and other underground artists in the Houston rap scene.
